Twitter, also described as the SMS in internet, is one among the many social networking sites that is gaining popularity among the world. Twitter was dedicated to dealing mainly with blog posts. Now in its evolution it has just went on the interaction drive with the TV sector. It simply means that now there will be television shows played on Twitter itself. The goal of this new innovation is to bridge the gap between TV and internet. On the whole, having a television show played on Twitter is simply a boost for this social network. There are many critical views regarding putting television shows on Twitter. On such argument is the impracticability of putting TV shows on Twitter when the company itself can do so on its own. But the fact that the viewers of Twitter outnumber the regular TV watching group, has overridden those critics. Twitter is being very specific in its Television shows that it does not put just any one on TV. Only selective celebrities are destined for Twitter. And this is another reason for it hitting the popularity charts.
